NJ ASK

The New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge

(NJ ASK) is the New Jersey state test for student in third grade to eight grade.

Third graders are tested NJ ASK for three days. On the first two days, they are tested on Language Arts Literacy. On the
third day, they are tested on Mathematics.

Fourth graders are tested NJ ASK for five days. Two days for Language Arts Literacy, two days for Mathematics, and one day for
Science.

Fifth graders to eighth graders are tested for two days. First two days in Language arts and next two days in Maths..

The NJ ASK consists of several different types of questions, including multiple-choice questions, open-ended questions, and writing tasks.
